Umelyateem

Since its establishment, the Foundation has placed a strong focus on supporting women—particularly female heads of households and widows—by organizing vocational training workshops aimed at economic empowerment.

Recognizing the importance of women’s political participation, the Umelyateem Foundation has also conducted awareness sessions to encourage women to exercise their right to vote and run in elections.

Furthermore, it has implemented key projects to train female candidates for parliamentary and local elections on leadership, legal knowledge, campaign planning, and other essential skills.

The Foundation is also committed to supporting women affected by violence, displacement, and conflict, providing them with psychosocial support and empowerment programs to help them overcome crisis situations.
