ندوات توعية النساء في المحافظات – مؤسسة ام اليتيم للتنمية

ضمن مبادرة التمكين المدني والسياسي للنساء في العراق التي تنفذها مؤسسة ام اليتيم في 4 محافظات (بغداد , البصرة , بابل , المثنى ) وبدعم من UNDEF أقيمت (12) ندوة توعية بواقع (3 ندوات/ محافظة) في الفترة (15-30 ) شباط 2014 , وقد شملت توعية 100 امرأة في كل محافظة يمثلن الريف والحضر وشرائح مختلفة من النساء على مواضيع مهمة بغية تهيئتهن للمشاركة الفاعلة في الانتخابات بالتصويت وتحسين ادوارهن في المجتمع
Awareness Symposiums for women in governorates
Within the Initiative of civil & political empowerment of women in Iraq which carried out by UMF in 4 governorates (Baghdad, Basra, Babil, Muthanna) and funded by UNDEF , was established (12) Awareness Symposiums by (3 sym/gov) between (15-30) February 2014 , included educate 100 women in each governorate representing rural and urban areas and different segments of women on important topics to prepare them for actively participation in the elections by vote and to improve their roles in society

وقد كانت اهم النقاط التي تم التركيز عليها في تلك الندوات بعد التعريف بالمبادرة هي :-
1. اهمية المشاركة في الانتخابات القادمة بالتصويت
2.اهمية التصويت لأمراة
3.أهمية المشاركة السياسية للمرأة والحقوق السياسية لها في الدستور
4.مواصفات المرشحة التي يجب ان ننتخبها

The most important points that have been highlighted in these symposiums after initiative introduction are:

1. The importance of women participating in the up-coming election by vote

2. The importance of voting for a woman

3. The importance of women’s political participation and political rights in the Constitution

4. Woman candidate specifications

وقد بينت المنظمات الشريكة في نهاية ندوات التوعية قصص النجاح التي عاشتها مع النساء المستهدفات , كما عرضت المنظمات اهم التحديات والصعوبات التي تواجه المرأة في طريق مشاركتها السياسية من وجهة نظر المشاركات حيث اشارت جمعية الفردوس العراقية من محافظة البصرة الى (انّ فكرة انخراط المراة داخل البرلمان او في مجالات ساسية اخرى لازالت جديدة عند المجتمع العراقي , و التهميش المتعمد لدور المرأة داخل البرلمان والمتمثل في منع النائبات عن ابداء الراي او مشاركتهن في الحوارات والقرارات ذات المواضيع الحساسة حيث تناط المهمة فقط لرؤساء الكتل والاحزاب او من ينوب عنهم من الرجال , حصر المناصب الرئاسية بالرجال مما قد يثبّط من معنويات المرأة في الاسهام ببناء البلد من خلال مشاركتها في العملية الانتخابية عن طريق الترشيح او انتخاب امرأة مناصرة لقضيتها)

By the end of awareness symposiums the partner CSOs indicated the success stories that showed by the targeted women , CSOs also indicated the most important challenges and difficulties faced by women in the way of political participation from the participants viewpoint , where Al-Ferdwas Iraqi Association / Basra indicated ( the idea of the involvement of women in parliament or any political areas is still new in Iraqi society , and marginalization of women role in parliament and preventing woman from expressing her opinion or participation in dialogues and decisions making of the sensitive topics where entrusted the task only for heads of blocs and parties or their representatives of men , inventory presidential positions in men than may inhibit women to contribute in building
the country through participation in the electoral process by nomination or election of a woman advocate her issue)

اما منظمة بنت الرافدين في محافظة بابل فقد اشارت الى السلبيات التي ذكرتها المشاركات في ندوات التوعية في مشاركة المرأة السياسية وهي ( ان المرأة لم تثبت وجودها في العملية السياسية , وانها مازالت تعيش ضمن السلطة الذكورية , و فوز او صعود نساء غير كفوءات للبرلمان , ولاء البرلمانية للحزب الذي تنتمي له )

Bint –Alrafedain organization in Babil has indicated the negative matters that mentioned by participants in awareness symps on women’s political participation, (woman did not prove their presence in the political process, and they are still living within the male power, inefficient women reach to parliament , the loyalty of woman parliamentarian to her party and bloc )

فيما اشارت معهد المرأة القيادية من محافظة بغداد الى توقعات النساء للمرأة التي يرغبن التصويت لها ان تكون (قوية ومهتمة بتطوير واقع المراة , غير طائفية , لديها خبرة ودراية ومشاركة واسعة بالانشطة الاجتماعية , لديها خبرة مهنية , لديها نشاطات داخل المجتمع يثبت وجودها وفعاليتها ومشاركاتها )

Women Leadership Institute/Baghdad indicated to the expectations about woman who want to vote to be (strong and is interested in developing the reality of Iraqi women, non-sectarian, have experience and expertise and a wide participation in social activities,
have professional experience, has activities for her community to prove her existence, effectiveness )

وقد بادرت منظمة ساوة لحقوق الانسان في محافظة المثنى بدعوة ممثلين عن المفوضية المستقلة للانتخابات للتعريف بأهمية استلام بطاقة الناخب الاليكترونية والتعريف بمراكز التسجيل في محافظتهم والاشارة الى قضايا فنية ولوجستية ذات علاقة بالانتخابات
كما حضر في الندوات بعض المسؤولين المحليين وتم تغطيتها اعلاميا من بعض القنوات الفضائية ووسائل الاعلام الاخرى

Sawa HR organization / Muthanna has initiated to invite representatives of the Independent Electoral Commission to define the importance of the receipt of a voter’s electronic card and Registration centers identification with indication to technical and logistical issues related to elections
